Flag Parade Prague
Wednesday, 18th October
Meeting point: the Wenceslas square (Václavské náměstí, metro station Muzeum), 13:30
What’s going on?
Over 1 000 students are going to participate in this unique event and you should definitely not miss it. The Flag parade starts at the Wenceslas square (Václavské náměstí, metro station Muzeum) at 2pm and continues through the historic city center of Prague. The final stop will be at Jan Palach Square (Náměstí Jana Palacha, next to Rudolfinum, metro station Staroměstská) where we will enjoy a concert and have fun all together!
Bring your flag, traditional clothing of your country, football dress of your national team or paint your face with your national colours. If you don’t have a flag, don’t worry, we will have some!

Clean up the Czech Republic
Saturday, 14th October
Clean up the Czech Republic (www.uklidmecesko.cz) is a national initiative promoting local voluntary “clean up operations” around the country. It provides all necessary equipment for this kind of events and very much appreciates any help from communities.
After the success of the last Clean up! events we decided to return to the Lesopark Hostivař also this Fall.
Dont be shy and join us on Saturday after lunch for picking trash (we will provide you gloves and bags) and after that we invite you to a “Czech BBQ” in the afternoon! (+ and as a bonus you get the good feeling of doing some good for the Earth, you know….😉).

Trip to Southern Moravia

As the warmest part of the Czech Republic, southern Moravia is a recognized wine region full of picturesque countrysides, vineyards and historic sites with hundreds of years old traditions.
Join us for a trip to Mikulov, a town with a rich viticulture tradition, and Chateau Lednice – a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape. You will have a chance to learn more about the local wine production during a tour around Tanzberg vineyard, taste some of their wines, and feast your eyes with gardens as well as with astonishing interiors of the breathtaking Chateau Lednice.

Sunrise at Sněžka
Saturday, 30th September until Sunday, 1st October
Meeting point: in front of Volha, 23:50
Price: 600 Kč
Would you like to see Czech Republic from the highest peak of this country during the magical time of sunrise? To get there, we will go through one of the most beautiful hiking pathway in whole Czech Republic.
We will leave Prague on Saturday about midnight and go by bus to Pec pod Sněžkou. At 2-3 a.m. we start hiking. It is about 13 km, 800 m high difference hike with an awesome view on Bohemia region. After watching the sunrise and enjoying view from the top, we will go back and take a bus back to Prague.
